You’re killing it. I have two teenagers now. They are out driving cars and talking to strangers and running free with undeveloped frontal lobes. I think it maybe should be the scariest time, but far from it. It is still a mystery to me how I survived those early years—physically, financially, mentally, logistically. I must’ve been an entirely different person because the person I am today could never.

Jealousy becomes a non-issue if a parent regularly spends some time alone with each child.We had twins plus another child 12 months older, and we would rotate them by one parent taking one of them for a walk or to the store. It wasn't as hard as it sounds and our 3 boys had zero jealousy. We found this out before the twins were born when we saw a documentary of sets of twins aged 8 to 80-something. They twins hated each other. The common denominator was they never got time alone with a parent.
