As someone on leadership, I have a question. I have a kid in my section, I do my best to be nice and respectful, I go out of my way to drive him home, etc. he is one of the hardest people I've ever had to deal with in any setting. His behavior his attitude, his verbal responses and language, never good. I have to talk to him directly daily about bad behavior or doing something we shouldn't, he talks back to my section and directors, we have had to report his behavior and things he's said to directors multiple time. Everyone in our section and most of the band are sick of him and can't stand to talk to him. I try to be fun and get along with him but he mistreats instruments doesn't follow instructions, is constantly arguing and talking back to everyone. What does one do in that situation? I've asked him 'are you okay is there anything mg going on at home or anything at school that's bothering you,' and it's always 'no band is the problem,' and then he'll go on about something someone did that he admits to instigating and he says he knows he's the problem, but won't fix his behavior, how do I fix this?
