caroline should be lucky that elena even chose to protect her from damon (who wanted to kill her due to experiences with vikki mind you) and i never once saw caroline do the same for her. i've literally had the same friend like caroline, my friend who only is "best friends" with me when it's convenient for her. i'm still friends with her but i'm this close to walking away from this frienship.

See, I always hate how People hate on Elena but ADORE Katherine, or hate on Damon but LOVE Klaus. The double standards are crazy in the Fandom. do I love most of the characters? yes, would I realistically like them in real life? no. (yes I know it's a show but still) most people excuse what their favourite characters do purely because they like said characters. you can love a character and still think they're a bad person. (with exceptions, Like John Winchester, Mikael Mikaelson- Etc, There are just some characters nobody should like)
