My cat hates any physical affection, but when I miscarried my baby a few years ago he found me on the bathroom floor and let me hold him and cry for hours. His little head was soaked with tears and he stayed put until I felt better 🥹

Every single time I was having a meltdown, my cats just stand on my chest and stare at me until I laugh. If I don’t laugh, they belly flop on me and start purring loud enough to where I can’t hear my crappy thoughts or think about the issues. By that time, I’m too busy talking to them about what made me sad while giving them kisses and pets, so it’s no longer weighing on me. Cats are the best therapy

After my mom passed away I came home and just collapse sobbing, about to have a full meltdown/ panic attack. My cat came over and laid on my back and just purred till I calmed down enough to sit up. Then spent the night sitting in my lap and occasionally giving me head butts with I started panicking again. She saved me that night.

my cat used to sleep in my room when she was a kitten but when she entered her “teenage” phase she barely slept in my room. in january one of my little brothers passed away and she slept in my arms for two weeks straight, she would not leave my side at all 🥺
