Resident evil “fans” have managed to falsely identify Leon, claire, Chris, Jill, etc as resident evil itself. Resident evil HAS and always WILL be a SURVIVAL HORROR game NOT, a “Leon Kennedy” game or a “Chris redfield” game etc. this movie is PERFECTLY PORTRAYING a survival horror scenario and any mf saying it shouldn’t be called resident evil should go back to replaying RE4 and RE2 remakes for the billionth time

My issue is that they decided to put it in Raccoon City and have it in winter. If the director wanted to have it in winter, he should have put it in a different location. RE7 did so well because it was a completely new character and location that had nothing to do with Raccoon City or the main casts.

It’s not the fact it’s not Leon,Jill, and Chris fest. It’s the fact that if you have never shot a gun before placed into resident evil then you just die😭 it asked one of the most boring questions of “what if the player was in resident evil” duh WE would be dead. It even happened to Ethan until he was revived by the mold
