@aurarispoli: I would be lying if I didn’t say this takes a lot of intentional practice, but it really does. That voice used to be my worst enemy. I constantly fed into the negativity that would run through because it was easiest to do. It’s not easy to tell yourself positive things when negative feelings start to overwhelm you. I said for months this was stupid. Nothing is working and then one day things just started to click. And that’s truly the art of rewiring your brain. Good things take time and if you think everyone has it together and you’re the only ones struggling I promise you’re not. Social media looks like a lot of people have their life together, but a lot of people don’t and that’s the beautiful truth of life. You’re not supposed to have everything figured, not everything is gonna go your way, but it’s learning to adapt and see the good out of every situation you can.
