@life.of.issy.fam: Easy Vanilla Cake — 3 Flavours, 1 Batter This makes a large batch of batter. I divided mine between 3 cake pans and made 3 different flavours. Btw, who’s enjoying my playlist? 😂 Ingredients * 4 cups all-purpose/plain flour * 5 teaspoons baking powder * 1 teaspoon salt * 2 cups sugar * 1 cup melted unsalted butter * 8 medium eggs * 2 cups whole milk * 4 teaspoons vanilla extract Method 1. Preheat oven to 160°C. Grease and line your cake pans. 2. Add the eggs, sugar, milk, melted butter and vanilla to a blender. Blend until smooth and well combined. 3. Pour the blended mixture into a large mixing bowl. 4. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt directly into the bowl with the wet mixture. 5. Gently mix until everything is just combined. Do not overmix, as this can make the cake tough and dense. 6. Divide the batter into separate bowls for your different flavours: * Coconut Cake: Add coconut flakes to the batter and gently mix. Pour into the prepared pan, then sprinkle extra coconut flakes over the top. * Cookies & Cream Cake: Add crushed Cookies & Cream biscuits to the batter and gently mix. Pour into the prepared pan, then add extra crushed biscuits on top if desired. * Chocolate Chip Cake: Add chocolate chips to the batter and gently fold through, then pour into the prepared pan. 7. Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. 8.
