@thebelfasttelegraph: An Artificial Intelligence (AI) scam has led to the loss of over £250,000 in an online investment scam for one victim in Ards and North Down. The victim saw a video online purporting to be a well-known personality from the financial sector in an advertisement. The video promoted an investment opportunity and claimed there would be significant returns. The PSNI are now urging the public to remain vigilant in spotting scams, after a spokesperson described the incident as “sophisticated and substantial”
