My dad and I may not share the same views but I love him to death. He taught me how to tie my shoes, taught me how to get up when I fall, and taught me no matter what, that it I fail that at least I tried and many people dont even try in fear of failure

Wasn’t until the death of my mother to rebuild the relationship with my father. They separated when I was super young. I’m 32 when my mom died. My dad calls me 3 days later out of no where and asks if I’m ok. We’ve built a wonderful relationship since then.
