I have a stupid question, you have the stock cp4 and exergy system saver metering valve. Truck shuts down p128e could you in theory replace the the metering valve with another exergy to get home and replace the pump then. Does the pump actually stop working or is it just wearing down? Just saying truck quits it be easier to just replace that metering valve $300 keep in you truck just in case then waiting on a wrecker and paying to have your truck hauled. I'm asking for a friend 🤣

At 535000 miles on my LML, is the fuel saver a good idea? Difficult to install?

Drives me nuts how all these fanboy’s just say get a dcr just swap a dcr I’ve owned 2 6.7s with cp4s and over 500k between the 2 of them no issues it’s just like anything things break but ppl pushing 3100 dollar swap on a truck with say 100k that ran fine is in insane with you can just replace the cp4 for 1200

With that engine having that many miles did it have a lift pump? I worked at a dealership and the cp4 would always go out at 100k. Or is it fuel additives?

What fuel additive do you recommend to keep the CP4 happy and get 400k+ out of it
