Iv just had my 4th baby and my maternity is spent cleaning, doing washing, school runs and then by the time thats all done its nearly time for the youngest to get home again. Other than that I go to home bargains and end up spending my maternity pay on shit the I dont need😅

First-time mum here and feeling exactly the same! So far I’ve found a few things that might be worth a try Yogabellies mum & baby yoga, M&S on Tuesdays for free cake 🧁 , Avenue Cinema baby showings, Rhythm & Rhyme at the local library, Bangor Mamas on Insta, Music Bugs, Motherhood Bubble baby massage, and just going for solo walks and coffee ☕️. Hopefully some of these are helpful!

I have 2 under 2 and i have such a routine going of up every morning and out for a walk for around 9am. I haven’t bothered with baby groups or anything like that esp when they’re so young, i feel like going for a walk in nature is a sensory experience in itself for them when they’re a newborn. I use the afternoons to do something to entertain my toddler or meet up with friends etc when they’re free☺️

I went to a breast feeding group on a Friday in the Ards midwifery hub and I met a load of mummies and we did coffee, walks, baby sensory etc. As a shy girl I threw myself into mums and tots etc and just put myself out there and 2 years on I'm still friends with all the mummies. I have heard there's a mums pram walking group in ward park!

Sensory class once per week, water babies once per week, multiple trips to Bloomfields, a lot of time at my mums and walking to places I’d normally drive to put in a few hours per day 😅

I go to the ards breastfeeding group on a Friday, simply to get me out of the house weekly, talk to others and suppose ask advice when needed, but it’s the one weekly outing not costing me money! And the one I look forward to the most!
