I believe 2 things. 1) Only citizens should be able to own. 2) we need limits even on Canada's.home ownership. I'd say 2-3 properties. after that the tax system should make it unprofitable.

here in Iqaluit there was a new subdivision being built for families next to a school. and what happened was that most of the lots were won by business and turned them all into staff housing for fly in fly out staff. ridiculous

Bidding wars need to be illegal too. Keeps driving up the sales of home fat past what they are worth. Also, seriously outdated homes should not be selling for the same price as new builds.
