How do you think burning man should address the amount of garbage left in towns from burners? They leave so much trash at store dumpsters. Also, if the point is to leave the land as clean as it was, shouldn’t the organization try to ask burners to not consume so many new products each year? Try to reuse and recycle?

My immediate family member is an NHP trooper and IT IS NOT A TRAINING ground. They have plenty of other things to worry about to keep you all SAFE. And they aren't trying to SCARE you, they ask those questions to make sure you aren't under the influence to keep you and all the others on the road SAFE. What happens when you need help from and officer?? Don't you want them to ask questions of you and others then? Police aren't out to make your life miserable, they are there to keep the public safe. 🚔👮♀️🚨

And a lot of people think you don’t have to BUT IN THE STATE OF NEVADA IF AN OFFICER ASKS FOR IDENTIFICATION AND YOU REFUSE THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO DETAIN YOU! And they are allowed to search within arms lengths as evidence when they do so please show identification

So I know a few of the highway patrol in that area, and northern NV. They’re just trying to get home after working all day to provide for their family. They aren’t awful, and if you show them respect they will give you respect.

You have to say... 1. I envoke my 5th amendment right and choose to remain silent until my attorney is present. 2. I envoke my 4th amendment right and do not give permission to search and seizure unless ive commited a crime. 3. Am I being detained or am I free to leave? If im being detained, please identify the crime ive been accused of committing? always remember to follow your envoking of your rights by being polite and genuine. I always tell them "what else can I help you with"? lol

Here in California, the police officer has to tell you upfront why they are pulling you over. Then any questions that is asked afterwards, I say that I will not be answering any questions without my Lawyer present, I do not consent to any search and seizures without a judicial signed warrant. I then ask if I am I being detained? And if the answer is no. I followed up with am I free to go.
