Im starting on a Honda CBR 250R and it feels perfect. 1st gear maxes at about 15-20 mph. I have no fear of losing control of the bike at low speeds or having it rocket out from under me. plus it's so light I can handle it at 5mph with light featherinf no problem. ONLH downside is the single piston makes low speed torquey unless you really understand feathering the cluth
