@friendsofalaqsa: This weekend, we’re taking to the skies for Gaza. On 12 September, people around the world will come together for a global day of action, flying kites in solidarity with the children of Gaza and standing for their right to a childhood filled with freedom, joy and hope. Israel have banned Palestinian children flying kites and balloons, treating them as military drones and acts of war. Let’s come together and fill the skies to remind the world that every child deserves to look up and see hope, not fear. We’re also encouraging everyone taking part to support a Palestinian charity of your choice. Whether you donate yourself or raise funds with your community, every contribution can help support people in Gaza who urgently need it.
