@amoye_agba: WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER LOOK DOWN ON THE POOR One of the greatest mistakes we can make is to measure a person's value by what they have. Because sometimes, the person you consider poor, insignificant, or beneath your social class may possess something you desperately need. A wealthy person may have money, influence and access, but there may be knowledge, wisdom, skills or experiences they do not have. And sometimes, the person carrying that missing piece may be someone they would ordinarily overlook because of their financial situation. This is why life requires balance. If you have been blessed with wealth, do not allow your wealth to make you blind to the value of those who have less. The poor are not without value simply because they lack money. They are part of society, part of the larger body, and they have something to contribute. If you discover that you need someone who has less than you financially, then learn to respect them. Honour them. Give them hope. Help them where you can. And, where possible, contribute to elevating their lives. Sometimes, the very people you avoid because you believe they are not “your level” may be carrying the knowledge, ability or opportunity that connects you to something you have been praying for.
