Klaus mikaelson. A horrible man who, lets face it, never became a good person. However i personally never saw the aim of his “redemption” about him becoming morally good, his redemption was about redeeming himself to his family. By the end of the show he had made amends with Finn, gave Freya a second chance at life, allowed rebekah to live a fully independent autonomous life, and gave the family their “Hope”.

blair when she got close to dan end of season 4 to end of season 5 😭 she became pretty selfless, was a lot less of an elitist and she acknowledged her toxic traits and evaluated that she didn’t want a life like that (before doing a complete 180 in season 6)

These characters EARNED their evolution because you see it happen so gradually and seeded in, in shorter shows you just can’t get that same degree of buy in for how people do truly change
