FALSE... IT IS WHAT EVER THE JUDGE FEELS LIKE. here in California laws dont matter. my child support is $1490 a month with a gross pay of $42200 year. even after appeal... that's 17880 a year.

@Andrew Ortiz: My base pay for a month without overtime was like $3,500 a month after taxes/etc and the judge ordered me to pay $2,400 to my ex leaving me with $1000 a month so I either kept working OT or cut my OT and get my kids more days. So I cut my OT and the judge only lowered my support to $2,200. Screwed me cause I couldn’t afford my debts and eventually couldn’t even afford to gas to commute which put me in more debt…. California, Riverside County, Indio Court House in particular is completely unfair and doesn’t care about the well being of the father even if the father is involved completely and still taking care of his kids… completely screwed me over financially and there’s literally nothing I could do.

California on 2 daughters. $2,764 a month. One daughter we don’t see eye to eye and she’s 18 now. I still have to pay till she 19 because she’s in school. My other daughter, $1,000 a month. Can’t take her more because work schedule.
