We sometimes like to refer to these guys as the best dancers of the bird world - the way they can hold their head perfectly still while their bodies move around makes them look like they’re belly dancing! Many birds have very specialized skeletons with lots of vertebrae and muscles in their necks. This allows them to hold their heads in place while their bodies move, almost like dancing.
