When I started working in long term care, I was taught to always open the windows in a room when someone passed to allow the spirit to leave. that was 40 years ago.

thank you for posting the older woman made her passing bearable for me and my sister but most importantly grandma I know my grandpa and her 2 sons and granddaughter came to bring her peace grieving is for the living the dead only go home

so my grandma passed last year at almost 98 years we sat with her and a older nurse came in and yelled at us to open the window we asked why and was told let's loved ones come to take her home she quieted down and passed peaceful 1 hour later
