@civilrightsorg: Indi Veitia filed for asylum in 2019 and was told she could stay in the U.S. while her case was reviewed. Last month, plain-clothed ICE agents detained her on a work trip, pinning her to the wall of a jet bridge at the airport. Her cruel treatment in a detention center should never have happened. Her story is heartbreaking, but her strength and the support from her community show that our resilience cannot be broken ICE cannot break our will to fight for what is right.
