Why do we even need to breed animals when theres so many struggling to find homes and arent spayed or neutured so they multiply fast. Ive seen so many strays and precious babies being dumped everyday, I think we should take care of the ones that are already here.

genuine question at what point does a dog stop being a mix and becomes a actual breed ? do I think doodles are ethical no absolutely not but I also understand a lot of breeds at one point were a mix so whats stopping doodles to hypothetically become a breed?

Not only that, but the bottom line is that no ethical poodle breeder (or any ethical breeder really) would ever let any one of their poodles be the start of a doodle line… so where are these doodles sourcing their foundation dogs from??

what breeders refuse to understand is there is no doodle breed standard they CANNOT be a breed without a breed standard. Doodles are literally anything mixed with a poodle. Every temperament, every size, every health issue, every coat type. like bffr.

they also will never become a breed either BC that would require a breed standard and health 💀 I don't think hundreds of byb breeders will be able to make a standard. and considering it's not a breeding project from one person either.
