no these players are just stars against crap opponents on a team that they have to solo carry giving them unlimited range to do whatever they want. if these players were this green in the WNBA they would continue it. No team is going to tell an elite scorer to turn into a pick and roll rebounder or 3&D player thats just dumb.

One thing is for sure, these players when they play for their own countries their teammates trusts them more. While in the WNBA they usually get overlooked.

it's not even that... the answer is much more simpler.. theyre playing inferior teams than the wnba.. fiba world cup teams arent elite... theres only like 3 or 4 teams that are decent. and the rest dont even have players that would make a developmental contract. this is just a bad application of looking at stats

It comes down to the fact that most of the WNBA teams are still playing an outdated form of basketball. They are playing half court set plays like they were doing back in the 20 teens. For some of the teams, they are still playing the exact plays that either their coaches or their mentors were playing in 2014 you can go back and watch the videos. Stephanie White is a perfect example of that. Lawson is another she is still playing the same place that Summit used in the 2014 2015 Era. Every one of the players mentioned in this video plays four teams that use outdated regimented style of basketball. When they go to their home countries they’re let loose and Europe the world plays mostly open Koert fast pace, giving players the opportunity to to make opportunities happen if that makes sense.
