Have you watched the One Hundred Years of Solitude Netflix adaptation? They just came out with part 2, the whole show is incredible and really does justice to the book which is rare!!

Thanks for recommending 100 tears of solitude because I agree that people don't talk about it enough. While working in a small town library I recommended this for the book club and received nothing but negative feedback. Negative and somewhat angry feedback. I don't care for books where magical realism is the entire concept but think that this book is a good example of a good blend of that with history and foremost an account of family and culture over a century of time
