The incident occurred last Thursday about two hours into the flight, forcing the plane to safely divert to Baltimore. The 67-year-old passenger, Layne Arthur Lundeen, reportedly made racist and misogynistic comments before becoming physical. Following the chaotic scene, Lundeen was arrested by authorities for disorderly conduct. The passengers like him that stood up and helped protect the Flight crew need to be recognized and rewarded, not just by the Airline but the FAA too. There's no telling how extreme and dangerous some people can be when under the influence, there's been cases where they had tried to open a door.
