i am 34, at 25 I was just fresh out of uni, had just started my job.. children how?! I didn't spend 5 and a half years studying so that I get pregnant right after🙄 now at 34 with 10 years career behind my back I can start thinking of having kids😏

i'm convinced that the ones who attack childfree women are those that regret having their own children, are miserable, and want other women to be as miserable as they are, so they take it as a personal attack when someone chooses not to procreate.

This is so weird. No one around me is even thinking of children at 24/25. Some of us don’t even have partners or even thinking about it. We just finished uni and we are trying to find our footing 💀

As a mom I don’t see why other people push so hard for motherhood. Yes i love being a mom and love my son more than anything but being postpartum was the hardest time of my life and ive been through some ish. Birth alters your brain and forever changes your body & motherhood itself is no walk in the park and somedays you wish you could go back and enjoy your life prechildren.

At 34, two years after getting my tubes out, I've learned that by far most people heavily regret kids and actively hate us because we chose the freedom we had as young adults and kept it close. While they're forced to stay on campings and cater to the kids, we're having dinner at 2,5 km high in the Swiss Alps 🤷♀️I've never been jealous of someone who I didn't want to trade lives with.
