Uber can definitely do more for these trips. $500 for a small trip? How much is a litre of gas now, not to mention the cost of maintaining your vehicle? They need to start trips at $1,000 and upwards. Keep the drivers happy and everything will be good, but $500 for a trip, especially for the distance some of us have to drive? Good God, man! 😩

Indont think uber in the tourist focus towns like mobay and ochi makes sense Uber may be convenient for tourists, but it’s not necessarily benefiting the average Jamaican who depends on tourism to make a living. JUTA drivers, local tour operators, vendors, suppliers, etc. are already struggling to get a piece of the tourism dollar. If everything becomes cheaper and easier for the tourist through outside platforms, how does the average Jamaican actually benefit? Uber can leave ASAP

Uber can do way better but they choose not to. They fail to understand that the happier a driver is with the fares, The better it will be for the company but it's a slavery mentality because all uber is doing is providing a platform. They don't buy us gas nor provide us with a vehicle yet still they are dictating the prices and it's really low
