@thevalerieadams: Specific sign that he’s just wants something casual 🚩⤵️ He can SAY that he’s looking for a relationship but if he’s doing this, chances are he’s only looking for something casual with you If multiple times he has left you “hanging” around potential plans where he doesn’t follow up, follow through, or acknowledge the open loop..this is a red flag When he KNOWS he told you: “Let’s try to XYZ tomorrow” “On Tuesday lets XYZ” “I’ll text you tomorrow about _____” “This weekend we can _____” But the day comes and he doesn’t communicate… Or he DOES communicate but mentions nothing about the proposed plans meanwhile, you’ve kept the space open in your calendar📆. The first time it happens it’s easy to excuse it as: “maybe he forgot” or “he’s super busy and has a lot going on” But when it happens more than once, it’s a pattern that sends a DEEPER message. 🚩He’s ok with breaking his word 🚩He’s ok with not following through on simple things 🚩He’s ok with you holding time in your schedule to see him but not filling it or at the very least acknowledging that he needs to shift plans If he can’t follow through in the early stages of dating…how can you expect him to have the follow through necessary for a healthy relationship? 🤔 Trusting somebody you’re dating isn’t just about “I trust that he’s only seeing me” It comes down to being able to trust the LITTLE THINGS.
