It’s okay to be single, and it’s also okay to be in a relationship. What you can’t do is say you can’t stand people who are obsessed with the idea of being in a relationship. That’s them. If they want to be obsessed with it, let them be obsessed. If you’re perfectly fine being single and you don’t obsess over the idea of being in a relationship, that’s you—and that’s okay too. No one is forcing you to want one. People have their own preferences, just like you have yours. What I actually can’t stand are people who spend so much time focusing on things that are beyond their control and, honestly, none of their business to begin with.
