I do the same thing. I feel like it’s a way to honor them and remember who they were. I’m currently reading Joe Pfeiffer‘s book and watching a 9/11 documentary on YouTube that is 20 hours long. It’s a compilation of footage from that day.

Same here, as someone who was in 3rd grade when it happened, a few years ago I decided that I would watch all of the documentaries and content every year to fully pay my respects.

You’re not alone. I also always watch Holocaust documentaries. It’s heavy material, but I think I watch it because even tho these were horrific events, the moments of bravery always gets me.
