No it was on me for treating them so good making him coffee before he got out of bed waited on him hand &;foot cooked dinner every night, made lunch everyday for work. He had it so good & because I was a pacifist.I did whatever it took to avoid arguments. But while I was doing that.He was realising I say jump she will jump higher. Got to the point walking on egg shells & blamed myself. Agreeing it was my fault.He would appologize for hitting me & in return I would apologise for little things like dinner not being on time or it had gone cold because he had been occupied talking to a mate he phoned when I said dinner be ready in 5 minutes. Never ever again will i allow a person to control my life. Hit me once shame on you hit me twice shame on me.

I went through all 3 stages exactly like that, the last one for me is forgiving them, not forgetting or trusting them, but forgiveness is when you have truly let go and build your own life again.
