Watched it all live, before they started censoring the jumping and I’m still haunted by this. Even after 25 years it’s traumatizing to listen to people’s last phone calls, see the photos and video. But I watch. I listen. Their lives mattered and we should never ever forget.

My science teacher was a volunteer for hatzalah and he was talking about how the sound of people hitting the ground sounded like a huge car crash. I could tell how much it had an impact on him by the way he was crying. May God bless their souls.

His posture and the position of his legs plus his fearlessness tells us what a very strong man he was. May he Rest In Peace. 🙏🙏

I was 19, I remember hearing the thuds on live TV, the Newsweek magazines, the various news stations projecting the death tolls, the blank stars of everyone I came in contact with, for weeks and weeks, the small American flag I attached to my car antenna. I will never forget 🥺

Nobody should have to choose between falling & burning up in the flames. Horrible.

I remember the man who tried to carefully climb down, then lost his footing and didn’t make it. He must have been so terrified. I can’t imagine. 🥺🫶

I was in 2nd grade when it happened and I still remember it like it was yesterday. We lived down the street from an Air Force base and I remember the adults panicking and they wheeled tv sets into the classrooms and we all watched it live until our parents came to pick us up. I remember standing outside waiting for the cars of parents and so many of them were crying. I remember my mom crying because my uncle lived in New York and died that day. I remember being at home and watching the news with my parents glued to the tv. They didn’t censor anything. We saw all of it. I remember being so little, but still understanding that something big and scary had just happened. And I remember feeling like things were different somehow. It didn’t fully conceptualize until I got older. But even now that I’m 33, I watch the documentaries of 9/11 and it takes me right back to that moment and seeing those new stories live.

I remember watching everything live on several different news channels. The horrible sound of bodies hitting surfaces until they cut the videos was something I've never forgotten.

This is what i think happened to my wife. It’s horrifying and no one even cares anymore. Trump won’t even attend events. It’s a joke now.

if you started watching the event in the early stages the TV networks were showing the people falling and you could hear a loud thud as they hit the ground and I remember telling my wife going out that window is certain death which is why I don't understand I would have took my chances with the fire it's a horrible way to go though and so many people especially in New York has completely forgotten about this which is a God damn shame

I think, for some, when you know you are about to die, HOW you go is all yours and yours alone. You go on your terms and no one else's.
