Adam And Jamie, you are too wonderful beautiful human beings who’s got the biggest hearts and should be on the LGB stage ensure casing that it doesn’t matter if you’re a heterosexual couple or a gay couple a child is still loved protected and given the best start and in life. The world at the moment is chaotic on the verge of becoming crazy. The government are not interested in anything to do with running this country because the people that we’ve got in government the people who have been voted as MPs are just ridiculous numbers that we pay nearly £100,000 a year they just want to convert this country in a communist however this is a sign to have a break and enjoy the time with you and Jamie and Leven and when the world has finished have an ex meltdown and all of a sudden everything‘s gone back to normal and we’ve got some decent MPs in Parliament then it’s the best time to start again because your daughter will be much older and she will be in a position to say I don’t want a mummy and I don’t want to know who the person was that carried me for nine months that will be the biggest seed to put in these MP brain. So Adam, Jamie you haven’t lost that was just round one round two is when you win, enjoy your lives together. X

Don’t let the cruelness of others make you forget that. We had our daughter 11 years ago through surrogacy. I was the second in the U.K. to do it single. Now I am 11 yrs down the line and the only thing that hurts my daughter is outsiders critiquing if it should exist.

Nope nope nope. We will have no defeatist talk here. Take a few days, weeks even, but we will not let you give up, no way. Honestly, the people debating sound absolutely clueless. Like do your research before debating for god sake. If surrogacy happens in this country, surrogates are not paid to do it! Yes they get expenses paid as such but that’s covering basics - so no “rich” men are out buying babies for god sake. Ok traditional families, right yeah ok, well a bit double standards given gay couples can adopt, lesbians can have IVF. Children need PARENTS that show up put them first, meet their needs, and don’t walk away. They need positive role models, parents who are present. They need love. A traditional family set up just because it fits a narrative or the status quo does not guarantee this. And like you to say it’s to benefit everyone involved. As for debating whether surrogacy should be allowed at all is shocking. It truly is, especially when you think of the different types of IVF, yet that’s not disputed. And coming from the state who allowed babies to be stolen from their mothers for many years encouraging forced adoptions, turning a blind eye to money being exchanged so couples could jump the queue or so religious organisations could carry on stealing babies for profit. Absolutely disgusting. I’m so sorry. 💔

A child who is loved by two parents is everyone child’s dream. Why should that ever be down to whether that’s a man or a woman. Having two people who wanted to love a baby SO bad and wanted to raise someone who will be our future generation is SO special. Leven is here because she was SO wanted. There is children out there who’s parents let them down, beat them and abused them. But they are aloud to keep having children, and the benefits system would pay for them also. Then we have to loving gentleman, raising a little girl showing her things most can’t and it’s not ‘accepted’. I am truly sorry and am so ashamed of the world we live in 😭

This hurts my heart. As a two mum family here I can’t understand how they can make it so much easier (legally) for two women to create family as opposed to two men creating a family. We still have our struggles with professionals and general public not treating us like a real family, but what you have to experience as gay men is heart breaking and I hope for change for our future children 😔💗

As a 3 time surrogate, I can wholeheartedly state that I have no regrets at all. I helped create families. who have gone on to become my family. I so wish that there was something I could do to help. just know that Leven will grow up to become one strong woman with you love and guidance ❤️

This is so sad that this is the result all they have taken from this much needed debate it’s 2026 children need two parents wether that’s two mums two dads one mum one dad it doesn’t matter what matters is they are shown the love .This is a cause we need to keep fighting keep going back and back to it to give those parents and they children the same right as everyone else I’m sorry this is the result today but together we fight this battle to win the war xx💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

This is just heartbreaking… there are millions of families that decide to go down the surrogacy lane due to some women may not be able to conceive naturally not just that same sex marriages really wanting to start their own families. I feel like government need to stand in our shoes sometimes; imagine if that was there families or them selves going through this process, it’s not easy but the outcome is just magical. The time will come when you will have victory and can celebrate this. But for now spend every precious moment with leven 🩷
