I started the abbey young method November last year. My hair is unrecognisable now. It’s not been this long in over a decade, it doesn’t tangle or break off and it’s so shiny it’s insane. I can’t remember the last time my hair was this healthy.

To be frank.... I ruined my hair listening to all of her advice.... I followed everything, every step on the road map.. Too many products, too many steps... I will go back to a simplified routine. Be careful with whatever advice you follow from a very popular TikToker branding cheap products. I am in Abey Yung detox and my hair has never been better...

help meeeeee pleaseeeeee, when I use Ouai Detox Shampoo and L’Oréal Glycolic Gloss shampoo I get a waxy coating, my hair feels rough, after using conditioner it’s gets better but, my hair gets oily so fast. I’ve also started to shed sooo much.

She promotes this OGX oil all the time, but the first ingredient is dimethicone. So it’s basically a silicone based oil. Of course silicone can make damaged hair look and feel smoother, and silicone isn’t bad! But there are plenty of great silicone products out there. What confuses me is using this for an oily scalp and then following with a volume/strong cleansing shampoo to wash it off… what’s the point of putting the oil on first? Wouldn’t one gentle shampoo that works for both the scalp and damaged hair make more sense???
