Didn’t the saw guy take a cop and his son because the son said he didn’t like his dad. And the dad was planting illegal stuff on people. I understand taking the dad but the son did nothing.

"It is not saw trap worthy, in my opinion." Didn't Cary Elwes' character in the first film get put into his trap because his bedside manner wasn't good enough? Another guy in the first film was put in one because he was self-harming, and Amanda was originally put in hers for being a drug addict. It doesn't take a lot.

during the dead meat podcast for this movie the said that etheir one of the writers or directors (cant remember who) was going through a nasty divorce so that why this movie in particular had a nasty outcome for the women even Joyce who quiet literally did nothing but be lied to by her husband.
