I wrote this a couple of weeks ago after i started the separation process from my husband of two years. I kept abandoning myself every time i got into a relationship since middle school because i just wanted to be chosen. I then started making them “my world” furthermore abandoning myself. I am now 32 in October and finally choosing myself, i am The World. I am worth fighting for but i dont care to stay somewhere that doesnt see that. So i dont feel like i need to be chosen by others anymore. Im awake now and can’t unknow what i learned about myself. If i go back i will be actively choosing to abandon myself. I know it’s scary to be alone guys but stop abandoning yourself just to not be alone 🥰 I feel limitless and scared at the same time but no longer letting fear control my life!
