@healingwithchels: Dissociation doesn’t always look like zoning out or completely shutting down. Sometimes it looks like going to work, caring for everyone, completing every task and appearing completely fine externally…while feeling disconnected from your body, emotions or life. That’s what people often miss about high-functioning CPTSD: functioning doesn’t necessarily mean you are present or healed. Which one do you experience most?

sometimes feeling the need to hyper or create agendas when at times there truly is not need to because your body knows it needs transparent, longevity, and quality type of rest (sometimes more than a vacation themselves).
