@globalneswroom: LINDA MWANANCHI YOUTH LEAGUE WARNS GOVERNMENT OVER RULE OF LAW The Linda Mwananchi Youth League, led by its chairman, has strongly spoken out against what it describes as the government’s failure to respect the Constitution and uphold the rule of law. Speaking today, the youth leaders accused the government of failing to address the challenges facing young people, particularly unemployment, while allegedly allowing political actors to mobilize youths for violence instead of creating jobs and opportunities for them. The chairman questioned why young Kenyans should be exposed to weapons such as pangas and rungus instead of being empowered through employment, education, entrepreneurship and other economic opportunities. The youth league further declared that it will not accept what it considers unconstitutional leadership or actions that undermine the rights and freedoms of Kenyan citizens. The chairman warned that if the government continues to disregard the Constitution and the rule of law, the youth will use lawful and constitutional means to demand accountability and seek political change ahead of the 2027 General Election.
