My total income has been trending down since I started these monthly recaps, and this month I realized I really needed to take a step back and figure out where my time was actually going. I made $1,622.80 from Spark, Amazon, UGC, reselling, and various apps. But August wasn’t just about the number. I finally started YouTube, figured out a schedule that might actually work for me, and started paying more attention to which things are actually worth my time. Sounds like you still got a lot done and had successes! That’s awesome! I’ve been trying to do this part-time since the beginning of the year and I have come to understand that I can never have more than three jobs open at one time. And it just absolutely kills my soul not to apply, and it kills my soul to turn anything down. It’s just too hard to clear 8 to 10 jobs with varying degrees of payouts and deliverables, especially with the unpredictability of product arrival. I mean a product can arrive at the worst time and of course that brand still expects the five day turnaround we agreed on. Meanwhile, I’m staring down the barrel of four 13 hour shifts in a row. Another monkey wrench this month is that I stood my ground on a couple of contracts, in the hopes of finally pivoting, and not simply accepting anything and everything that came my way. And that resulted in the brand choosing not to move forward. I spent days kicking myself for being ‘picky’ but how else are you supposed to scale? Anyway, a continued work in progress. Happy birthday!
