Yes, the selectivity thing is a psyop. About as equal as a non-5α-reducible of an androgen in the prostate. Doesn't get deactivated in muscle tissue. There's some theories about the ones that don't activate the N-/C- terminal of the AR but I believe that's just hoopla. Many of them also activate some non-genomic pathways, but this generally lacks research. Not entirely sure why they lose effectiveness above like 5mg/day, possibly due to liver damage and resulting igf-1 reductions.
