Yes but age is a huge factor in this, as well as individual goals. Standing doesn’t really matter in the long term for development. My daughter was asked repeatedly to come to one of the top teams in our state, we declined because she needed more support with her development. After like 13-14, it’s a factor but doesn’t matter in the long run for college or even pro recruitment. This mentality puts the emphasis on wins and losses and takes away from development
