I've started learning making Lofi jazz music about 6 months ago. I'm now looking to learn how to DJ so I can make better DJ ready tracks. I think starting with producing has made me think about how I want the audience to feel when they hear my track, before I've even touched the decks.

I agree but sometimes you need money to survive and buy stuff 😅 So what better idea that Djing at birthdays or events with pop music (reggaeton, pop, etc), meanwhile you continue learning about production.
