I ordered Costco today for same-day delivery and Instacart brings it. When the gentleman got here, he told me that they forgot to ring up the toilet paper. He said when he tried the card, it would not let him do it, I didn’t know what he meant but now I get it, he has a prepaid card. Anyways, I didn’t have cash and I asked him if I should Venmo him or something. He said don’t worry about it. I said it was all good. He left and I got a text saying that the order was cleared. I went in and added the additional $23 as a tip. I did not want this man paying for my toilet paper, but it did restore my faith in humanity that he would do it and not show up without it.
