I've been supporting Charles since 2016 when he won his GP3 title. He seemed invincible after winning the F2 title, had an incredible debut year at Sauber, and then signed with Ferrari in 2019, staying with them for eight seasons, with more to come. If you told my 2019 self that Leclerc hadn't won a championship with Ferrari after eight seasons, I wouldn't have believed it, and I still don't. In my opinion, I haven't seen many drivers more talented than Charles Leclerc. He's undoubtedly on the same level as Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso, but the fact that after nine seasons in Formula One he still doesn't understand that he shouldn't try to get 101% out of the car in every race is probably one of his biggest weaknesses. It's something that works against him and that he rarely does. That's why Charles is the best qualifier on the entire grid; that way of pushing the car to the limit isn't for everyone, and it's one of the characteristics that made me fall in love with his driving. Even though Charles is probably having his worst season in Formula One, I'll never stop supporting him.
