Every day I see crazier behavior from drivers and ebikes. This SUV driver ran through the traffic light with his head down looking at his phone all the way past the intersection.

Unfortunately I feel like this has always kind of been a thing, I moved here 7 years ago and it’s always been like this in my experience.. and not just pedestrians, but I’ve seen people unalived on city bikes by cars as well. We all just have to watch out 😭.

Most car accidents happen within a mile of your home because you spend the most time there. On a time or miles driven adjusted basis there is no statistical difference in where you will get hit except for the fact that you spend more time in one place.

a lot of these people new to nyc dont seem to want to be alive - i work i. soho and DAILY see people with heads buried in phones just running out into green light traffic. same people that are obviously unaware of their surroundings in subway stations etc. trying to warn them only makes them aggressive so I just stand back like whatever happens happens....couldn't be me!! 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

crazy the amount of cops that run red lights when there is clearly no emergency. they flash their lights to cross and then go back to nothing as soon as they cross then do it again at the next intersection.

Bikers running reds, running into pedestrians when it’s our right of way, seeing us walking when it’s green and deciding to bike into us anyway 🙄🙄🙄 I’m this close to smacking them on the head when they try to fly by when they try to run into pedestrians
