Sweet T :
I'm sure there's some DNA evidence somewhere unless they botched the case

That’s actually horrifying, not sure what to think with this one very possible it could’ve been the husband but I’ve heard of other cases where someone was in the house secretly so it’s not completely unrealistic.

No fingerprints, forced entry, security cameras at the house or any houses nearby? Did they check his vehicle? Verify he was at work with his employer? Check her computer & phone records as well as his? Was there life insurance, adultery, massive debt, etc.? Whoever did it would have to know the couple’s routine also.

In that exact position, I don’t think I could wait four hours to check on my wife, an hour or so but not four hours. Statement, not accusation.

He did it before leaving is what it sounds like because if my wife/husband didn't answer the first few times I'd be otw to see what's what. Not waiting 4 hours

If husband was cleared then it means time of death was determined to have been during the time he wasn’t home. But obviously it happened between 4-5 because he called her at 5. It would be an extremely tight timeframe for time of death.

I wonder if they did a forensic cell search? It would paint a timeline and they could see if she/he was looking up anything as far as divorce, affairs, etc. If he did it, their had to be some pent up rage behind it. 😳

I’ve never heard of this one! What line of work was the husband in? Can police not prove he was at work when he said he was? How did he call to check on her? Cell Phone? It was 2008 couldn’t they look at his records to see where he called her if he in fact did? Seems like it would be easy to rule him out if he’s indeed innocent like he claims.
