@178anatomy: OUTER HIP PAIN WHEN YOU STAND ON ONE LEG MAY BE MORE THAN JUST A SORE SPOT. Single-leg standing increases the demand on the gluteus medius and minimus as they help control the pelvis. If the pelvis drops or the hip moves into more adduction, the load around the greater trochanter and gluteal tendon attachments can change. The pain is local, but the movement involves the whole system. #HipPain #GlutealTendons #Biomechanics #PhysicalTherapy
