@uncutandrawfx: My 10 year old has never seen me work a job. Not because she hasn’t seen me work. She’s watched me trade. She’s watched me build businesses, create things from scratch, solve problems, have good days, have frustrating days, and figure things out when something didn’t work. But she’s never known a version of her mom that had to clock in. And I realized how much that probably shapes the way she sees adulthood, money and what’s possible for her. I’m not raising her to believe there’s anything wrong with having a job. I just want her to know a job is one way to make a living. Not the only way. So yes, I teach my 10 year old about charts. I teach her about business. I let her build things. I let her see the work behind the freedom too. Because the inheritance I care about isn’t just money.
