I’m 72. SAVE THIS 👇🏻 And honestly? I still have places to go, things to do, and plenty of energy to keep up. 💃🏻 I don’t believe getting older means becoming less capable. These are the habits I keep coming back to: 1️⃣ I keep dancing. It’s fun, but it also challenges my balance, coordination, legs, and core. I’d rather keep moving than spend my days sitting still. 💃🏻 2️⃣ I move every morning. Some days it’s a walk. Some days it’s stretching or mobility. It doesn’t have to be intense — I just make sure my body gets moving. 3️⃣ I strength train. I’m not trying to build huge muscles. I want to stay strong enough to carry my groceries, climb stairs, get up from the floor, and feel confident in my body. 💪🏻 4️⃣ I pay attention to what I eat. Especially protein. If I want to maintain muscle and stay strong, I have to give my body the building blocks it needs. 🥩 5️⃣ I take sleep seriously. My body needs time to recover. I’ve learned that pushing through every tired day isn’t a badge of honor. 😴 6️⃣ I stay consistent. I don’t need every workout to be perfect. Some days I do less. I just refuse to completely stop. Getting older is happening whether we like it or not. But how we take care of ourselves along the way is still in our hands. ❤️ And because I wanted a simple plan instead of trying to piece everything together myself, I put the system I follow into my 40-day New Body, New Life book for women 45+. Movement, healthy habits, food guidance, and simple daily steps — all in one place, without making healthy living feel overwhelming. 📖 If you’re 45+ and want a practical place to start, this is exactly why I created it. You can find it in my biо and see what’s inside🤍 Save this for the days you need a reminder: your age doesn’t get to decide what you’re capable of. #HealthyAging #WomenOver45 #HealthyAging #AgeWithStrength #WomensHealth
