It was such a long question I genuinely blacked out halfway through and have no idea what he asked 😂

For every person who only eats half, there is another that boils the bones for broth. I'm on the broth side. Most are in the middle.

I know nothing about farming. I come here purely for the intelligent discourse. But the fact I’ve learned a lot about farming, and just basic economics since I followed is also very satisfying.

Costco rotisserie chicken costs me at least $180 whenever I stop by to get it. The hot dogs are about $80. This is how they can sell them at a loss.

It's two different purposes for me. Costco chicken gets shredded and kept in the fridge for salads and wraps. If we're having roast chicken for dinner, it's a broiler, from the butcher shop down the street, originating from the poultry farm one town over. I don't think of Costco as 'real' chicken, it's convenience chicken

I’ve never wasted a chicken in my life. Enchiladas, salads broth just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean people are wasting them ( in my opinion)

I wish that I were in the tax bracket to be able to buy your chicken and geographically available. But there have been weeks that I only made my grocery budget because of Costco so I am grateful.

If you waste food, no matter how cheap, you need to rethink your priorities.

All I hear is “Oh, right. The chicken. The chicken for Kuzco, the chicken chosen especially to feed Kuzco, Kuzco's chicken.”

if you had a conversation with Patrick Warburton do you think you would enter a fugue state where you feel like you're talking to yourself and lose all sense of self?

There is an interesting podcast that talks on the history of collapse of empires and after listening to about six histories of civil collapse the common factor comes down outgrowing the carrying capacity plus some environmental catastrophe

Also worth nothing that Costco is very efficient about extracting value from their leftover rotisserie chickens. They incorporate the meat into other products in-store like the chicken bakes, prepped salads, and vacuum packed rotisserie meat. They are arguably much better about it than some other chains

Costco rotisserie chicken is snacking chicken- chicken salad, for salads, for wraps, or girl dinner with random bits and pieces. Kosher chicken is for roasting and dinners with cloth napkins LOL 😂😂😂
